Perfection in CBD Product Making and More

This is incredible, but even more than four thousand years ago, hemp flower was the basis of knitwear production. At that time, so many varieties were not yet bred, however, no one dared to smoke it. Archaeological excavations confirm that the peoples who inhabited the territory of modern Ukraine made and often used various products from this plant in everyday life. The use of the cbd products stand comes useful there.

The most suitable soil for hemp breeding in Sumy, Poltava and Cherkasy regions

Since ancient times, the center of domestic trade in Ukraine was Kiev. It was here that traders first brought hemp seeds, having heard about the fertile chernozems and the amazing climate of our country. The most favorable lands were considered the territories of the current Poltava, Sumy and Cherkasy regions. In these regions, cannabis products were the main form of income generation. And in the hunger years, hemp was a real salvation: it gave raw materials for heating, food and was an analogue of modern pain medication.

Hemp – a universal plant for crop rotation

Note to farmers: hemp is biologically compatible with all crops grown, it is practically not affected by pests and diseases, and it does not need fertilizers. By introducing hemp into the crop rotation, it is possible to increase the production of fodder crops, improve soil fertility and introduce much less fertilizer. Ideal neighbors for hemp are sugar beets, potatoes, silage, winter crops, lupins and clovers.

Cannabis industrialization began a hundred years ago

The past century was remembered in history not only by a booming industrial upsurge, but also by active developments in the hemp breeding industry. So after the Stolypin agrarian reform, the first attempts to introduce technologies for deep processing of hemp appeared. In the 70s, breeders from the Institute of Bast Crops in Sumy Oblast created several varieties of technical hemp, which either did not contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) at all or contained a very small amount of it. It means that having lit even a ton of this culture, it will not work to achieve the effect.

Hemp and More

Thus, the industry of hemp breeding, banned in most European countries due to the flourishing of drug addiction, was reanimated. In Germany alone, over 30 hemp processing plants have been built over the past 20 years. But at the same time, in Ukraine, sown area was declining at an accelerated pace. So in 1913 hemp crops in Ukraine amounted to 127 thousand hectares, in 1975 – 72 thousand hectares, 90th – 10 thousand hectares, and in 2011 the lowest quota – 357 hectares was allocated for hemp crops. In 2008, the primary processing of raw materials was carried out at three enterprises, and in 2010 only at one.
